| IFES AGM 2011 |

The 2011 IFES Annual AGM was held on 15-17 June 2011 Oxford, United Kingdom. The United Kingdom location was decided for three reasons- attract more UK companies to be part of IFES, consolidate the IFES-ESSA partnership and learn more about the English exposition market.
The meeting was attended by 68 participants from 23 countries.
The event served as a platform for IFES members to meet and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the Exhibition industry.
IFES would like to take to thank all members, sponsors and speakers that made the event a huge success.

The 2011 meeting counted with the presence of five guest speakers, Mrs Rebecca Saunders, Mr Steve Barratt, Dr Hermann Kresse, Mr Dirk Walterspacher and Mr Andreas Winckler. The following IFES members Justin Hawes and Sophie Chenel also joined the panel discussions.
In summary, the presentations were focused on Green Meetings, exhibit business in the UK, giving the audience a general understanding of the exhibit business in UK, and thorough a overview of the international trade fair industry. |
