On
September 26th, the IFES Communication Group
was hosted in Brno by BVV, the Brno Trade Fairs. Jiri
Carda, a longtime and dedicated IFES member made a
presentation about BVV´s exhibition activities and
an analysis of the condition of the Czech exhibition
market. The rest of the meeting was presided by the IFES
President.
Among other topic, the Group discussed mainly IFES´Euroshop participation, the joint IFES/EDPA Convention in Miami and the website forum. The Group decided to accept the Nicolaysen Messedesign as. concept for the IFES Euroshop stand and to make a strategic move in the development of the IFES web site by introducing the Forum. The Forum will be a discussion platform for all exhibition industry professionals where every month, they´ll find a statement by an industry professional, which will remain at the disposal for discussion during that period. Bruno Meissner, president of the Communication Group, presents the first statement.
