| Expo & Event participated in X'Event, the Swiss marketing exhibition (August 21-23) with the central theme 'communication'. Hence the glass bar as central design element in the stand. | |||

bar effectively was intensively used
for discussions about the fates of the trade and the
federation. Many event
agencies visited the stand, looking to adhere to Expo
& Event
X'Event is an exhibition presenting the innovations in marketing and communication, adding for the first time a print & sign section as well as publicity design. The exhibition now covers items such as print, new media, publishing, POS direct marketing, event marketing and exhibition services. And a number of very active trade organisations. During X'Event, a very challenging congress program was organised: Xongress. Day themes were: Customers in the Future, Cross Media Strategies and Experiential Marketing. |

Of central interest for the future role of exhibition services is a new marketing paradigma : experiential marketing. This paradigma is already adopted by leading companies in the definition of their brand policies, communication and product design. Central in this paradigma is the customer's experience. Experience has to become the central factor when information technology is increasingly omnipresent, brands rule the world and communication gets integrated. Experience will make the difference.
