New Direction for the Brno Trade Fairs

As of  November 1^st, 2001, Brno Trade Fairs and Exhibitions (BVV Brno) and the Trade Fairs Brno (VELETRHY Brno) have merged. The new company, the Trade Fairs Brno has become the successor of BVV not only from the legal point of view , but also from the point of its role as a top leader in organizing the international exhibitions in the Czech Republic.

The spirit of the merger is to create more favorable business enviroment and conditions for dialog with the market. This philosophy is held by owners Brno Trade Fairs, the important German international fairs organizer Messe Düsseldorf and the City of Brno.

The Brno Trade Fairs is also commiting themselves to higher quality in exhibition services, mainly in the construction of exhibition stands. Based on this new direction for the company, Mr. Ales Pohl has been entrusted with the management of the realisation and service department and has replaced the former head, Mr. Jiri Carda.

Mr. Jiri Carda, beyond question the important person in our branch, left by mutual agreement and will start his own company.

The Brno Trade Fairs has committed themselves to maintaining  a strong and stable partnership with their clients.
