ASAL mourns
Alvaro De Bernardino,
one of its founding fathers

Our deepest regrets
to his family,
colleagues
and friends.

Alvaro de Bernardino left us, a man who devoted his whole life to our industry; in 1975, he promoted the idea of founding a federation of stand builders; in September  of that same year, together with Paolo Plotini, Pier Paolo Vaj, Ambrogio Uguccioni and Luigi Rossi, he founded ASAL, which he presided for 10 consecutive years.

In Italy, Luigi Rossi, one of the co-founders of ASAL passed away. He was also active on the international level, acting as IFES Vice-President.

IFES offers its condolences to Luigi Rossi's family and to our Italian colleagues.

Luigi Rossi
was the owner of La Milanese, a long-established and renowned stand constructing company in Italy. During years, he was one of the driving forces behind all the initiatives taken by ASAL to promote our industry.
He was much admired for his generosity, his working capacity and his creativity in inventing new solutions for our industry.
We will miss him.
