Towards a more sustainable trade show industry: findings from the North American study, example from Europe & next steps

The exhibition industry is committed to sustainability. With this session we will highlight some findings from a study conducted to evaluate the most material impacts on the environment from the operations of the B2B trade show industry in the U.S. and Canada, and show how they feed into the global picture. The session will also include an example from Europe about the measurement of event GHG emissions. The conclusion will highlight how these elements feed the ongoing work undertaken by the events industry towards Net Zero Carbon Events and the upcoming #COP27 Global Climate Conference.
