IFES Welcomes Gregor Bischkopf as New Executive Director

The International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) is excited to announce that Gregor Bischkopf has joined the association as the incoming Executive Director. He will take over from Uta Goretzky in full by the end of the year. The Executive Board is thrilled to welcome Gregor on board to become part of the association and to continue the IFES legacy. His fundamental knowledge of business development in the trade show industry, gained through different roles with major players in the organizer world, is set to strengthen IFES by supporting the association’s strategy and bringing additional value and new perspectives to the IFES community and industry Partners.

The Executive Board would also like to extend its gratitude on behalf of all IFES members from around the world to Uta Goretzky, for the valuable contributions she has made in this role over the last ten years. Uta started at IFES forming and leading a passionate management team and has brought financial stability to the association.

Building and shaping a growing community, key assets such as education and events (especially the annual event World Summit and the Global Village at EuroShop), Uta has been instrumental in growing the association over the years into a global collaboration network of event service partners, which has now exceeded the number of 300 dedicated members for the first time in its 40 years of history.
