When a stand tells a story far beyond the brand

Today, an exhibition stand must do more than simply command attention and project a brand identity: it must also reflect environmental integrity.

For this reason, Prostand has chosen to address sustainability through a scientific, certified approach based on verifiable data, making it a cornerstone of its operating model; 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗠.𝗢.𝗥𝗘. – Measure. Offset. Reduce. is the framework through which the company manages its sustainability journey.

 

Measure

Each year, Prostand measures its organisational Carbon Footprint, namely the greenhouse gas emissions generated by its business activities.

The calculation is carried out in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14064-1 standard and is verified by Bureau Veritas, one of the world’s leading certification bodies.

 

Offset

Residual emissions that cannot be eliminated through process optimisation are offset via certified carbon credits under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) developed by the international organisation Verra.

To date our supported projects are located in Cambodia and India.

Keo Seima – Cambodia
A forest conservation initiative that protects tropical ecosystems of high biodiversity and safeguards the territory of the indigenous Bunong communities.

Baspa Hydropower – India
A hydroelectric facility that generates renewable energy and contributes to reducing fossil fuel emissions.

 

REduce

Measuring and offsetting are not enough.
Our long-term objective is the progressive reduction of emissions across all business operations.

To this end, Prostand maintains a constant analysis of production processes, materials, supply chains logistics and transport.

This auditing activity enables us to identify the most effective ways to reduce the our carbon footprint and to continuously update our strategic mitigation plan.
