The implementation of IdeenExpo 2026 demonstrates how close cooperation between Holtmann+ and Expodium Solutions can yield a project of extraordinary magnitude and lasting impact.

As the partner responsible for the overall structural planning and implementation of the IdeenExpo, Holtmann+ coordinated all on-site infrastructure measures. From overarching project management to the planning of complex processes and the management of all trades involved, Holtmann+ was responsible for the successful implementation of the project.

A particular challenge was the implementation of the floor surfaces. Together with Expodium Solutions, a sustainable concept was developed and implemented that met both the high requirements of the event and the sustainability goals of the project.

Expodium contributed its expertise in resource-saving flooring systems. A total of around 22,500 square metres of RECY flooring was installed – produced in Germany, reusable and consistently geared towards sustainability. Months before the first day of construction, the teams of both companies worked closely together to precisely coordinate planning, material logistics and execution.

The decisive success factor was not the sheer size of the project, but the quality of the cooperation. Holtmann+ was responsible for the overarching management and created the framework conditions for smooth implementation. Expodium complemented this structure with specialised expertise in sustainable flooring solutions. Together, a project was created that sets standards both organisationally and ecologically.

Especially against the backdrop of growing demands around sustainability, resource efficiency and project complexity, the cooperation shows how the modern event industry works: through the early involvement of specialists, cooperative partnerships and the common goal of successfully putting innovative solutions into practice.
