VOK DAMS worldwide has been named “Organiser of the Year (AI Adoption and Innovation)” at this year’s Event Technology Awards: AI Edition in London. The awards ceremony took place as part of the first AI Edition of the Event Technology Awards, which is entirely dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in the events sector.
Dr Anja Schmidt-Ott, Strategy & Consulting at VOK DAMS, accepted the coveted trophy on behalf of the entire team.
The Event Technology Awards are regarded as one of the most important international accolades for innovation in the events industry. In the first AI Edition, prizes were awarded in 21 categories, including ‘Best AI for Ticketing & Pricing Optimisation’, ‘Best AI for Customer Service’, ‘Best Use of AI at an Exhibition or Trade Show’, ‘Best AI for Registration & Onboarding’ and ‘Most Innovative AI Application in Events’.
From a field of international entrants, VOK DAMS emerged victorious in the highly competitive ‘Organiser of the Year (AI Adoption and Innovation)’ category.
The ‘Organiser of the Year (AI Adoption and Innovation)’ award recognises VOK DAMS’ use of AI in event and live marketing worldwide. At the heart of the award was the development of the Digital Doppelgänger approach.
VOK DAMS’ “Digital Doubles” use AI to simulate target audiences in order to understand at an early stage which messages, content and touchpoints actually resonate. This is transforming the way events are planned. Content is not evaluated only after the event, but is tested, refined and its impact made measurable in advance.
