The enterprise that does not “innovate” ages and declines. And in a period of rapid change such as the present, the decline will be fast.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE

Committee Objectives

  • Create and provide ongoing education programmes, materials and training opportunities for IFES Members on knowledge areas that are relevant to them.
  • Increase availability and access to quality training and resources.
  • Ensure relevance for 3 target audiences within IFES:
    • Newcomers
    • Sales managers, account managers and project managers
    • Owners and C-level executives

Optimistic and Future-Driven Goals

At the recent IFES World Summit in Spain, we outlined our strategic pillars for the next two years, focusing on fostering lifelong education and staying connected with our evolving labour force. Our mission is to tailor educational programs to meet the needs of our members, ensuring that everyone from co-workers to C-level executives can benefit from our offerings.

Key Initiatives

  • Tailored Educational Programs
We will develop educational initiatives, such as Masterclasses, that address the interests and needs of our members. Topics will include international similarities and differences, AI, sales, regulations, and more.
  • Inclusive Outreach
Our programs will be inclusive, catering to all levels within organisations from entry-level employees to top executives.
  • Event Integration
We will connect with existing major events where our peers are already present, such as EXHIBITORLIVE, BOE International, Euroshop, and IMEX. This approach will allow us to be more sustainable by reducing the need for multiple travels, thereby minimising our environmental footprint.
  • Collaboration with Fellow Institutes
We seek to cooperate with leading organisations like UFI, EDPA, ESSA, GMA, and IAPCO. These collaborations will enhance our reach and impact, ensuring we stay at the forefront of industry trends and developments.

Sustainability and Efficiency

Our commitment to sustainability is paramount. By aligning our activities with existing events and fostering partnerships with other organisations, we aim to optimise resources and reduce travel. This strategy not only supports environmental sustainability but also ensures that our members can access high-quality education and networking opportunities in a more efficient manner.

Vision for the Future

Our vision is centred around continuous learning and maintaining strong connections within our community. We believe in the power of education to drive professional growth and innovation. By staying connected and adapting to the changing needs of our members, we are confident in our ability to support their success in our ever-evolving industry.
