As IFES Ambassador for Egypt and North Africa, my priority has been to increase member value and strengthen the IFES presence in a region with relatively few industry conferences and networking events suitable for membership recruitment. To overcome this challenge, we introduced an innovative regional initiative by establishing an IFES Member Service Hub within our offices at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC).
The hub provides IFES members exhibiting at EIEC with a professional base of operations, offering meeting facilities for client and partner discussions, printing and administrative support, workspace, local coordination, and on-site business assistance throughout exhibition periods. Beyond these practical services, the hub serves as a permanent representation of the IFES brand within one of the region’s leading exhibition venues.
The initiative also creates business opportunities by connecting international IFES members with experienced Egyptian exhibition contractors and trusted local suppliers, facilitating partnerships and supporting successful project delivery. This concept has enhanced the visibility of IFES in Egypt and North Africa, attracting new members to IFES, delivering tangible value to members, and strengthening  collaboration between the regional exhibition industry and the global IFES network. – Hazem Hamada (IFES Ambassador)
