What happens when many perspectives sit at one table? Insight deepens- and so does our work.
Starting January 1, 2027, the IFES Talent Team (ITT) is placing young representatives directly into IFES committee workstreams. This initiative brings a fresh, next-generation perspective to every topic – from digital solutions and sustainability to membership and education – while creating a two-way bridge of value. ITT reps contribute youth-driven insights inside the committees and, in return, bring back lessons, outcomes, and best practices to the wider ITT community.
This is our reimagined reverse mentorship: not a classroom exercise, but practice in the field. By embedding ITT voices where decisions and projects are shaped, we accelerate innovation, foster inclusivity, and strengthen knowledge flow across IFES. It benefits everyone — the ITT, all participating workstreams, and IFES as a whole.
And there’s more on the horizon. Inside the ITT itself, we are preparing changes that will bring fresh wind beneath our wings as we enter the new year – energising our community and sharpening our impact. Stay tuned: we will share further updates early next year.
