The newly rebranded BOE international is becoming the “International trade fair for innovative event solutions” bundling trends, technologies, and best practices in an even more focused way for greater reach and more qualified contacts with 550+ exhibitors and 10,000+ industry professionals.

IFES exhibited as part of the fwd: space at BOE International at Messe Dortmund on 14-15 Jan 2026, where the conversations, connections, and collaborative energy reflected the true momentum of our global network. Over two days, we engaged with industry leaders, emerging talent, and long-standing partners who share our commitment to elevating international standards within the exhibitions and events sector. We enjoyed the opportunity to talk about our upcoming online AI training and Masterclasses, the international opportunities offered by the IFES Global Village concept at EuroShop 2026 and share the excitement of our upcoming World Summit in Dubai this June. Of course, IFES’ support of the Better Stands framework and the opportunities offered by its fast-expanding global reach was an equally hot topic for members and visitors alike.

The fwd: space brought together 20 leading providers from across the event sector. providing an ideal platform to spotlight the mission and impact of the IFES community – from global knowledge exchange to sustainable practice, from strengthening cross-border cooperation to championing the next generation of industry professionals. Our presence this year was both a continuation of our long-standing support for BOE International and a reaffirmation of our collective focus on shaping a more resilient, innovative future for our sector.
