Expo Centric and Event Mill have officially launched Expo Centric WA, a new exhibition, activation and event production business established to increase large-scale design, manufacturing and production capability in Western Australia.
The joint venture will operate from a newly secured 2,200-square-metre manufacturing and production facility in Jandakot, bringing more exhibition and event production capability directly into the Western Australian market.
Expo Centric WA combines Expo Centric’s national experience in custom exhibition environments and major brand activations with Event Mill’s established WA operations, local market knowledge and event production expertise.
The business will provide premium custom exhibition stands, brand activations and experiential environments, complete exhibition and show builds, corporate and public event environments, retail displays and permanent brand installations. Its capabilities will also include custom joinery, printing, audiovisual production and modular display solutions.
A key objective of the new operation is to enable more complex exhibition projects to be designed, manufactured, pre-built and delivered locally rather than transporting major builds across Australia.
The Jandakot facility has been established to support projects from initial concept through manufacturing, pre-build and installation. In-house capabilities include custom joinery and fabrication, wide-format printing and graphic production, large-scale audiovisual solutions, project storage and logistics, and more than 2,000 Aluvision frames for modular and custom construction.
The facility will also allow complete pre-builds, quality-control processes and client inspections to take place before installations move to event venues.
Expo Centric CEO Stan Kruss said the investment represents more than establishing a local sales presence, with the company focused on building genuine production capability within Western Australia.
The expansion is also expected to create local employment opportunities across design, project management, manufacturing, printing, audiovisual production, logistics and installation.
Event Mill Directors Jesse Wilson and Nick Spencer said the partnership combines the complementary strengths of both businesses, bringing together specialist exhibition design and national experience with established local relationships and an understanding of the Western Australian market.
Expo Centric WA will work with individual exhibitors, national and Western Australian brands, retailers, event agencies and exhibition organisers. Its scope will extend beyond individual exhibition stands to complete show builds, major brand activations, event environments, retail displays and permanent installations.
The partners say the investment is intended as a long-term commitment to Western Australia, with an ambition to expand what brands, agencies and organisers can design and deliver locally.
Expo Centric WA is a joint venture between Expo Centric and Event Mill and will deliver exhibition stands, activations, show builds, event environments and retail displays throughout Western Australia.
