Trade fairs in Japan have once again recorded an increase in 2015. International Exhibitors have spent more than 8 million USD on exhibiting. A development that underscores their important role among the international competition.
A strong exhibition industry needs strong suppliers and a performing network among stand design and stand building. To perform this task IFES offers the international network that helps to fulfil customer needs from all over the world.
To enhance cross-border cooperation and networking, IFES for example conducts an annual World Summit once a year which allows members to gather around and meet fellow expertises within our industry. This year, the IFES World Summit 2015 was held at the Hofburg of Vienna, the former residence of the Habsburgs. The core theme was “Sharing Business”. Therefore IFES invited global and national players from the whole spectrum of the exhibition industry elevating the annual meeting to “The Next Level”.
IFES’ next World Summit will take place between June 2nd and 4th 2016, at a location where the Orient meets the Occident: the magnificent city of Istanbul! The motto of this Summit will be: Building bridges to the future.
And in the future we are building bridges to Japan: WE are looking forward to a World Summit in Tokyo in 2018.
