Andrew Stevens, the 4th Generation of the Stevens family to be a part of stevensE3 has received, with highest honours, his IFES Certified Expert certification awarded this summer at the annual IFES World Summit, held this year in Chicago, Illinois. The ICE program gives a comprehensive vision along with detailed methodologies to drive participants’ careers forward, while also providing a solid theoretical reference for exhibit industry professionals. The program is named “IFES Certified Expert (ICE)” and targets professionals from within the exhibition and event services industry. IFES provides industry professionals with an educational program, which stands for state-of-the-art knowledge and a network dedicated to helping them face new challenges and acquire new business opportunities.
The program emphasizes subjects concerning the entire stand building and exhibition service industry and consists of disciplines related to the meeting industry (e.g. trade shows, special events). The total program includes 130 teaching hours. However, the participants are able to customize their own program of a minimum of 100 hours that compliments their own specific interests. The whole program consists of four modules, the first of which takes place within a face-to-face setting, as participants work together; get to know each other and to establish networking groups. Three additional modules are delivered within an e-learning environment, which will take approximately four months to complete. Participants will have the opportunity within each module to work collaboratively on joint projects.
