Welcome in La Grande Motte!

While one part of us will be assisting to conferences and workshops, the other part will have a great time in La Grande Motte. So, if you are looking for information on where to go and what to do, then follow our guide (available for download here). We prepared for you one day of activities on Thursday 22nd. For the rest of your time in Montpellier, you can chose between the different proposals we have collected for you: nice places to visit and tourist attractions so that you can fully enjoy your stay with us.

Developed in 1963, La Grande Motte and its famous pyramids designed by the architect Jean Balladur was created from scratch as the first sea resort of the area. Different activities present the historical and architectural patrimony of the city. Located at the gates of “Camargue”, close to Montpellier (20km) and Nîmes (30km), it is also the starting point of departure to visit Roman Gaul, Provence and the Hinterland.
